Rosé

Feb-Mar 2001
Peju Province 87, North Coast Karma, Rosé
A blend of two years and four grapes, Karma is an excellent dry-style rosé. Strawberry and raspberry flavors, silky smooth, enough residual sugar to boost the fruit (but not so much as to give it a sweet impression), and crisp acidity. Great picnic fare, or with turkey and all the stuffings.

Oct-Nov 2000

95 Taltarni, Brut Tache
A rosé sparkler to spark your passion – creamy, complex, minerally, with light peach and melon fruit. Extraordinary finish of fruit, yeast and spice that lingers for minutes.

87 Forest Glen Winery 1999, California Forest Fire, White Merlot
A rose by any other name is still a rose, and this so called "White" Merlot is a delightful rosé, off-dry with good balancing acidity and full of ripe watermelon-berry fruit. It would pair well with chicken, pasta, soups and fish.
